St. Louis, MO (KSDK) -- It's been nearly a month since the initial proposal put forth by the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission to the St. Louis Rams detailing a plan it hopes will keep the team in town beyond 2015.
A spokesman for the CVC says the St. Louis Rams have responded, saying they do not accept.
Instead, the St. Louis Rams are going to submit their own proposal to improve the Edward Jones Dome by May 1.
The CVC says they look forward to receiving it.
The Rams have a lease with the CVC that says if the Dome isn't one of the best in the NFL, they can leave town. This is a status many think the Dome will never reach, but the CVC says, it has a plan to keep the Rams.
If the two sides can't come to terms, the process goes to arbitration in June.
