St. Louis, Mo. (KSDK) - High winds sent trees crashing into cars in north St. Louis.

Ronette Henderson and her sister had a close when high winds pushed a tree on top of their SUV, crushing the back of the vehicle just seconds after the two walked inside her sister's home.

Sections of I-70 and I-55 saw massive flooding, turning the roadways into parking lots for thousands of commuters.

The damage came as severe weather moved across the region Saturday afternoon.

One person was killed and almost 100 others injured when a tent outside of Kilroy's Bar in downtown St. Louis collapsed.
