A man was beaten and four were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in the Dodger Stadium parking lot after Sunday night's Dodgers-Cardinals game, Los Angeles police said Monday.

According to police, a minor traffic accident resulted in the altercation, after which a man in his 20s was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released. A pregnant woman, a passenger in his car, was taken to the hospital as a precaution and also was released.

Sgt. David Armas told the Associated Press the victim was held down while he was hit and kicked in the face area while he was on the ground.

Four men in the the other vehicle, also in their 20s, were being held on $30,000 bail, officer Bruce Borihanh said Monday, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"There is a lot of security at Dodger Stadium, and they were able to respond pretty quickly," Borihanh told the Times.

The incident comes about 14 months after the beating of Giants fan Bryan Stow in the same parking lot. Stow suffered severe head and skull trauma that has left him with brain damage.

Police have charged two men in the attack who are awaiting trial.
