St. Louis (KSDK) - A little or a lot of rain won't close the annual Greek Festival in the Central West End.
The music will go on at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. The festival is a Labor Day staple in St. Louis.
The church stands at the intersection of Forest Park Parkway and Kingshighway and organizers say all they can do is prepare for the wind and rain.
"All we can do is make contingency plans by adding more tents, staking the tents to make sure that they're firmly in the ground and that the fire marshal has inspected them and made sure that they're safe so we don't wanna have any problems. But we also have the building, an auditorium, and we also have a patio," said Nick Tharenos, Chairman of the Greek Festival.
