St. Louis (KSDK) - Crowds are expected in downtown St. Louis Wednesday for the annual Ameren Missouri Thanksgiving Parade.
U.S. News and World Report ranks the parade among the best in the nation.
The magazine says it's at the top of the list because of the spirited marching bands, the majestic floats and those humongous, inflated versions of Garfield, snowmen, and Rudolph floating overhead.
This year's parade will involve more than a hundred groups and three-hundred volunteers.
It starts at 8:45 a.m. at Washington and 4th Street and goes down Market to 14th Street.
Jackie Joyner Kersee, Jeffrey Bonner, and Adrian Bracy, are this year's Grand Marshals.
