White Hills, AZ (KTNV/CNN) - People who live in places where Powerball is not played are driving across state lines to get tickets.

Check out the line in the video above from an area near the Hoover Dam. Powerball tickets are not sold in nearby Nevada or California.

Wednesday's drawing has ballooned to $550 million, the second-largest lottery jackpot of all time.

Powerball operates in 42 states, Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
