Staten Island, NY (WABC/CNN) - A discussion about FEMA aid for Sandy victims quickly turned into a shouting match in Staten Island.

CNN affiliate WABC attended the town hall meeting and you can hear it yourself in the video above; people were angry.

They say they came looking for help and answers, but did not get either.

At one point Staten Island Borough President James Molinaro tried to calm the more than 700 people as they got enraged.

Most of the questions were about whether Staten Island resident could apply for FEMA assistance and the city's Rapid Repair program.

This program enlists teams of contractors that go to the hardest hit areas to make repairs, city officials say that they can.
