St. Louis (KSDK) -- The first wave of ideas submitted to Rally Saint Louis is eligible for voting.
At the end of the month, the ideas with the top five number of votes will be budgeted and then go back on the site for crowdfunding. The process will repeat itself each month.
Rally Saint Louis will continue to take new idea submissions.
Co-founder Aaron Perlut came up with the idea after writing a blog on Forbes.com last year titled "St. Louis Doesn't Suck."
The project has the support of groups like the Convention and Visitors Commission the Regional Chamber and Growth Association and St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay. But it will not take money from any of them. All projects will be paid for by private donations.
