O'FALLON, Mo. (KSDK) - O'Fallon police are investigating a gas station armed robbery that took place Friday morning.

According to Colonel Roy Joachimstaler, O'Fallon Chief of Police, a Conoco gas station in the 1000 block of Bryan Road was robbed just after midnight.

The suspect walked into the gas station, displayed a handgun and demanded money, Joachimstaler said. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one injured in the robbery.

Police described the suspect as a tall, thin Caucasian man, standing between 6' and 6'2", weighing between 150 and 170 pounds, wearing a flannel plaid jacket with a gray hood, blue jeans, glasses and black and white tennis shoes.
