(KSDK Sports) -- The Tennessee State Tigers shoot for the road upset of the #12 Missouri Tigers.

Missouri rode a 19-0 spurt to erase a ten point deficit leading the way to an 81-65 win over instate rival Southeast Missouri State.

The Tigers trailed 45-35 at the break before turning it on at both ends of the floor to win going away. Missouri finished at nearly 45% marksmanship with the Redhawks connecting at 40.7% but the Tigers dominated the backboards 48-28 and were a near perfect 17-21 from the foul line.

The Tigers attack received a game high 26 points and nine rebounds from Laurence Bowers with Phil Pressey adding 17 points with six pulls and five helpers while Tony Criswell and Keon Bell supplied 25 points with Bell hauling in eleven rebounds.

Tennessee State picked up win number four with a 76-66 victory over visiting Drexel. It was a nice combination of offense and defense in the closing four minutes with the Tigers out scoring the Dragons 19-9 to break open a tie game.

The game was still close despite Tennessee State sinking half their shots and going 20-24 from the foul line, with Drexel hitting at just a 38.8% clip but totaling 19 offensive boards and 15 more looks.

The Tigers simply had too much balance with Kellen Thornton leading the way with 20 points and five pulls followed by Robert Covington with 17 points and seven rebounds. Jordan Cyphers added 15 points while Patrick Miller and Michael combined for 21 points.
