The Temple Owls host the Saint Louis Billikens from the Liacouras Center on Saturday at 6:00pm EST.

Saint Louis (12-3) have been a big surprise this season in the Atlantic-10 as they have had their best start in their programs history since 1993-1994.

The Billikens continued their impressive play last game as they ended Massachusett's 7 game winning streak with a 70-62 victory over the Minutemen.

After a close first half, UMass hit a 3-pointer to take a 54-50 lead with 9 minutes remaining in the game. UMass went cold going 2-11 in the rest of the game, and Saint Louis took over with the help of Rob Loe who scored 20 points to cap a 7-0 run by the Billikens and they took the lead for good.

Saint Louis had four players scoring double figures and they shot 44% from the field, and 25% from 3-point land. The Billikens average 66 points, 31 rebounds, 13.3 assists, and shoot 45% from the field this season. Mike McCall leads the Billikens in scoring with almost 12 ppg. Saint Louis has gone 6-7 against the spread and 0-1 ATS on the road.

Temple (10-4) sustained back to back losses for the first time this season as they have dropped the past two to Kansas and Xavier. Last game, Temple opened A-10 play as they faced Xavier on the road and were defeated 57-52.

The Owls struggled with their shot going 33 percent from the field and were out-rebounded by the Muskateers 36-27. Anthony Lee and Scootie Randall led the Owls with 15 and 13 points respectively.

Temple leading scorer Khalif Wyatt was extremely quiet in the game as he went only 2-11 from the field and 0-5 from 3-point range.

The Owls most notable victory this season came over nationally ranked Syracuse, in a 83-79 win. Temple as a team has averaged 69.5 points, 35.6 rebounds, 15 assists, and has shot 40 percent from FG range on the year. The Owls have posted a record of 6-1 at home this season, but have gone 6-6 against the spread and only 1-4 ATS when playing at home.
