(KSDK Sports) -- Dwayne Evans has a reputation. And over the last four game he's begun to show why. Evans has pulled down 26 rebounds in the last four games, and ranks 12th in the Atlantic 10 in the catagory.
Tonight Saint Louis (16-5, 5-2 A-10) takes its four-game winning streak to the road when it faces Fordham in the Bronx, N.Y. Game time at historic Rose Hill Gym is scheduled for 7 p.m.
In his last game Dwayne Evans netted 15 points (6-of-9 FG, 3-of-3 FT) and hauled in a game-high seven rebounds. Evans leads the team in scoring (11.1 ppg) and rebounding (6.5 rpg). He is 12th in the A-10 in rpg, which includes a 6.8 rpg mark in A-10 games.
Saint Louis has won four in a row, the longest active streak in the Atlantic 10 Conference. SLU is receiving votes in the AP Top 25 (eight, 38th) and USA Today Coaches Poll (one, 43rd). The Billikens are also RV in the ESPN.com Power Rankings (19, 31st).
The Billkens have had one of their best starts in school history, and has continued to impress the nation with their current 16-5 overall record.
The suffered early losses to Temple and Rhode Island, but have been perfect since with their best game coming last week when Saint Louis took down #9 Butler as they routed them in a 75-58 home upset.
So far the main story has been the Billiken defense, which has been wreaking havoc on their opponents, and forced a top 10 Butler team to commit a season-high 23 turnovers.
In their matchup last weekend, the Billikens continued their dominance on defense swiping 11 steals and forcing 20 turnovers as they absolutely crushed an above average Dayton Flyers squad 81-52.
