St. Louis (KSDK) -- St. Louis police are investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning near the intersection of Second and Morgan Street.
Police say they have arrested a man in the case. The suspected gunman reportedly fired several shots into an occupied car near Laclede's Landing. There were two women, both 24 years old, and a man in this vehicle when bullets started flying.
Police were in the area when they heard the gunshots and the suspect was apprehended. Police say the man handed the gun over to investigators when they arrived.
Just minutes later the man, 22, who was riding in the car showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper left arm. He is currently in critical, but stable condition.
Neither the suspect nor the victim's names have been released and the investigation is ongoing. NewsChannel 5 will bring you more information as it becomes available.
