100 Years of Crown Candy Easter Bunnies

Easter isn't complete for many St. Louisan's until they've had a chocolate fix from Crown Candy Kitchen. The St. Louis landmark has been making their famous chocolate bunnies for 100 years.

Crown Candy will use 200 pounds of white chocolate, 400 pounds of dark and 4,000 pounds of milk chocolate to make around 10,000 Easter bunnies this year.

"This is all made right here. We're one of the last companies in St. Louis that hand pours these bunnies.  So you want good quality chocolate that your kids can eat and really enjoy we're the place to come and get that," said Andy Karandzieff, Crown Candy Kitchen.

Karandzieff has seen a spike in their chocolate crosses this year. He credits the new pope for the sales.










Crown Candy Kitchen will stay open until 9pm Saturday, but they suggest you come early to get your chocolate treats.
