(KSDK Sports) -- With a record of 20-11, the Cardinals are now tied with the Texas Rangers and the Boston Red Sox with the best records in baseball. This is most impressive considering the well documented bullpen issues the team has endured the past three weeks.
But with Edward Mujica now giving the bullpen more stability, and the offense starting to click, the Cards are now streaking as they prepare for Chicago.
Riding a six game winning streak, the Cardinals bats are alive and well. And it appears they will be getting a bit more muscle on the bench. Cardinals General Manager John Mozeliak says slugger Matt Adams is just about done with his "re-hab" assignment.
