Clayton, MO (KSDK) - An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday in St. Louis County for a man accused of stealing a City of Clayton golf cart after being released from jail, then driving the cart to his home in south St. Louis County

28 year old Richard Blome, who currently has a Fenton address, was arrested and charged last June after police say he stole the cart from the Center of Clayton after being released from jail for an unrelated incident.

Authorities say they located the stolen golf cart in front of a residence across the street from the Lemay home where Blome once lived.

Police records show Blome was released from the St. Louis County Jail on the night the cart was taken, and Blome later admitted he took the cart and drove it from Clayton to his home on East Cartwright, parking it in front of his neighbors house.

Once Blome is back in custody, a Judge ordered Blome be held without bond on the felony stealing charge.
