EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (KSDK) - An East St. Louis woman was sentenced Wednesday for intending to distribute cocaine.
Lucille G. Brim, 42, was sentenced to 57 months in prison. She pleaded guilty to the charge March 18 and has been in federal custody since December.
Brim changed her plea in March and admitted to possessing six ounces of cocaine when she was stopped by officers in East St. Louis November 29, 2011. She also said she had intended to sell the drug.
She will serve her sentence concurrently with an unrelated 30 month sentence she received last August for crack cocaine distribution and maintaining drug-involved premises.
When Brim is release, she will have to complete three years of supervised release.
