(KSDK Sports) -- The Cardinals will attempt to end their losing skid on Tuesday but that won't be the only storyline they'll be facing. The much anticipated match up with former slugger Albert Pujols and his current team, the Angles, is fodder for every Cardinal fan.
The Angels will host the Cardinals for three games from Tuesday through Thursday.
The storyline is intriguing. Pujols, who at the time was regarded as the best player in the game, leaves the only team he's ever played for, where he helped them reach three World Series', of which he won two. He left for a sum of money the Cardinals could not match. Feelings were hurt, words were spoken, and the dust has not yet settled.
This week, Pujols had much to say regarding his former team, and not all of it was complimentary, especially when it came to the Cardinals front office. We asked Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak his thoughts on Pujols' comments.
