Jason Busch named Saint Louis Art Museum deputy director for curatorial affairs and museum programs

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The Saint Louis Art Museum announced Tuesday Jason T. Busch has been named deputy director for curatorial affairs and museum programs.

Busch, 38, is the currently the chief curator at the Alan G. and Jane A. Lehman Curator of Decorative Arts and Design at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh.

Previously, Busch was associate curator at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and assistant curator of American decorative arts at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, Conn.

Busch graduated magna cum laude from Miami University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in American Studies. He received a graduate degree and a certificate in Museum Studies from the Winterthur Program in Early American Culture at the University of Delaware. He also completed the fellowship program of the Center for Curatorial Leadership in New York City.

At the Saint Louis Art Museum, Busch will oversee its curatorial, exhibitions and collections, and education and public programs divisions.

He will begin in October.
