ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KSDK) - A cable repair man convicted of burglary and sodomy has been sentenced.
James Helderle, 22, was convicted of first-degree burglary, forcible sodomy, felonious restraint, and armed criminal action in May. On Thursday he was sentenced to 75 years in prison.
Helderle was employed by C.U.I., a subcontractor for Charter Communications, and committed the crimes against an O'Fallon, Mo. woman the day after working at her home. He confessed on tape to investigators after he was apprehended.
