RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. (KSDK) - People living in the Hadley Township area of Richmond Heights will have to wait a few more weeks to find out if their homes will be replaced by a Menard's Store.
The City Council postponed a final vote Monday night on approving a measure to redevelop the area.
Council members say they are still working out final development details with Menards. A final vote is expected on Sept. 3.
In May, the Richmond Heights Tax Increment Financing Commission voted to recommend that the city council amend the Hadley Township Redevelopment Plan. City Manager Amy Hamilton said the $63 million project will revitalize the area.
