O'FALLON (KSDK) - Police say a flasher is on the loose, and he targeted at least one jogger Tuesday morning.
Police got an anonymous call early Tuesday morning about a man exposing himself at Calumet Ranch Trail and Knaust Road. When they got there, a woman who was jogging flagged them down and told them she had been inappropriately touched.
"The descriptions matched," Officer Diana Damke said. "Officers continued looking in the area and searching. They ended up finding a motorist that had seen a subject that matched the description that morning and also the morning prior in the area of Calumet Trail and Mustang Trail Court, which is very close."
This happened just a few blocks away from a school zone. But police say none of the victims were kids -- that they know of.
We talked to about a half dozen people in the neighborhood and they all say they're shocked and alarmed that this happened here.
Bob Price says it may cause changes in his home.
"My first reaction was shock. And then I happened to think my wife goes walking every morning like 6-6:30 a.m. for about an hour," Price said. "I never dreamed anything like that around here. But no, she's going to have to take a couple of days off from that, or go down to the Rec Plex and jog around it."
The suspect is described as a white man on a bicycle wearing a black hoodie, black bike shorts and a pair of black shorts over top of those bike shorts. If you've seen him coming or going throughout the neighborhood, or you think you might be a victim, you are asked to call O'Fallon Police at 636-240-3200.
