ARNOLD, Mo. (KSDK) - An Arnold City Councilman has died.
Councilman Randy Crisler, 38, died in his sleep Wednesday morning, according to Arnold Mayor Ron Counts.
Crisler was suffering from an infection doctors were unable to isolate.
He was in his second term as councilman for Ward 1 in the city of Arnold. He had held the position from 2005 until 2011. He was reelected in April.
Mayor Counts says the death of Crisler is a loss for the entire community, and says he was a public servant who did everything he could to fix problems.
Crisler is survived by his wife, Nancy, daughters Kaitlin and Regan, and his stepson Austin.
In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to the Regan Crisler Irrevocable Trust.
