ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - If you believe in superstitions, Friday may be an unlucky day to buy Powerball tickets.
It's Friday the 13th, and many people have a fear of the date. If it's one of your fears, you should know this is the first of two this year. The next is in December.
The technical term for this fear is paraskavedekatriaphobia.
We wanted to find some other unusual phobias, so we looked them up on PhobiaList.com.
How about this: fear of lawsuits. Yes, there's a name for that. It's called liticaphobia.
And what about arachibutyrophobia? Having this phobia means you're afraid of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth. Some people are seriously afraid of this, thinking they may choke.
Moving on to euphobia. Believe it or not, this is the fear of hearing good news!
We got some great responses on our Facebook page when we asked what people are afraid of. Multiple people said things like crickets, clowns, and worms. Some unusual ones include cotton and bath tubs.
