ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - This weekend the St. Louis Metropolitan Police department will display unclaimed property outside its North Patrol Division.
The property will be displayed in an attempt to identify the owners of the equipment, which was seized by officers conducting a search warrant on a home in August.
The items are mostly lawn equipment and stolen during burglaries in the Sixth District, specifically Walnut Park East, Walnut Park West, and the North Pointe neighborhoods.
Anyone with has been the victim of a burglary or theft in the last year stop by North Patrol this weekend to see if they can claim any of the items.
Citizens should bring with them a police report complaint number, proof of identification, and proof of ownership, if available.
The items will be on display Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at North Patrol, 4014 N. Union.
