ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A federal grand jury indicted the "I-55 Bandit" Thursday, according to a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's office of Eastern District of Missouri.
Andrew Maberry, 19, of O'Fallon, Ill., faces a felony charge of bank robbery.
Maberry robbed the Commerce Bank in Arnold, Mo. July 2, according to the spokesman, but investigators believe that he might be connected to 10 other bank robberies in Illinois, Maryland, Tennessee, West Virginia and Missouri since May.
Maberry surrendered to authorities earlier this month after a brief campaign to identify him.
He could face a maximum of 20 years in prison or a possible fine of $250,000.
The federal investigation continues.
