ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Members of the St. Louis music community are mourning the loss of one of their own.
Saxophone player Larry Smith was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia and passed away Thursday. The long-time musician and his band played at all of the Cardinals Opening Day Rallies that was host.
The band was also a staple at Rams tailgate parties.
Smith was just on stage two weeks ago and was even scheduled to perform on Saturday.
Plans for Larry's funeral aren't complete yet.
