JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (KSDK) - A domestic dispute Thursday night resulted in a father being airlifted to a local hospital.
Capt. Ronald Arnhart with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department says a 52-year-old father and 28-year-old son were arguing at a home in the 5400 block of Faith Lane around 8 p.m.
The father and son were arguing about the son's alleged drug use. The father was inside his truck during the argument, when the son jumped onto it, and started hitting his father through the window.
The son pulled his father out of the truck and then drove over him. The father got up as the son started driving around the property, hitting fences.
A step-daughter then came outside, got into the truck, and hit the father again. He was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment. He is listed as stable.
Police say the son, step-daughter, and another woman are on the run. They are considered armed and dangerous. The son may be under the influence of methamphetamines and has one but possibly two handguns. Police are searching for them in Jefferson County, St. Louis County, and City of St. Louis areas.
