Lambert-St. Louis International Airport
ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is set to begin the second and final phase of its Terminal 1 makeover Tuesday.
Entry/Exit 12 will be closing to begin renovations similar to the ones just completed on Entry/Exit 17. That exit connecting the Bag Claim level with Arrivals Drive will reopen Tuesday with new, all-glass enclosed walkways to brighten passengers' paths with natural light. It is the main entrance to the pick-up and shuttle area.
While the work is being done, one lane of traffic will be closed. Super Park shuttles and the Terminal 2 Shuttle will also load on the center island on Arrivals Drive.
Construction is estimated to take three to four months.
