ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - A former St. Louis resident pleaded guilty Thursday relating to his participation in a credit card fraud scheme earlier this year, according to U.S. Attorney's Office of Eastern Missouri.
Anthony Winters, 30, of New York, N.Y., pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft.
According to the plea agreement, Winters stole credit card information from a St. Louis County restaurant where he worked in January. He made a number of unauthorized transactions with those card numbers.
Winters faces a mandatory sentence of two years in prison, possible restitution as well as up to $250,000 in fines.
