ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Bicyclists will soon have more places to ride in the City of St. Louis.
Great Rivers Greenway hosted an open house to present plans for Phase III of the Bike St. Louis Project. The plans call for 40 more miles of on-street routes throughout the city and upgrading 60 miles of the existing routes.
There will also be more signage and six bicycle parking corrals throughout the city.
"It's really great to get good feedback from folks and to talk about the importance of bicycling and how we can really make the quality of life for St. Louis much better," said Todd Antoine.
Construction begins in the spring 2014 and it should be completed by this time next year.
