WATERLOO, Ill. (KSDK) - A Metro East couple thinks their kids might hold the crystal ball when it comes to predicting World Series titles for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Mike and Barb Stafford had their first child, Drew, in 2006 when the Cards beat the Detroit Tigers for the title of World Series Champs. Then, in 2011, they had Claire, who shared her birth year with the World Series win over the Texas Rangers.
Now, the Staffords have a third child named Cole, who was born this summer.
They believe Cole could be the lucky charm that means another title for St. Louis. So, what will their reaction be if their family history proves lucky for the Cards?
"They better do it this year because we're not having any more kids!" said Barb Stafford."It will just be a really cool thing that we will have known about the family."
