WASHINGTON (KSDK) - The White House says Thursday's meeting between President Obama and House Republican leaders hasn't brought any agreements on extending the debt limit or ending the partial government shutdown, but they'll meet again in a few days.
Missouri Republican Congresswoman Ann Wagner was one of 18 members of the Republican delegation chosen to attend. She spoke with us from Washington just a few hours ago, and called the conversation useful, productive, frank and open.
"We laid something on the table that would give us some sort of relief on our debt ceiling of a temporary nature, so it would lift our debt ceiling of a temporary nature to Nov. 20. We looked for ways to come together on the budget so we could talk about big things," said Rep. Wagner.
