East St. Louis, IL (KSDK) - The parents of Trayvon Martin will come home to East St. Louis, Illinois Friday, May 25 to speak to the public at a "Stop the Violence Rally."
Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton are both natives of the city and were put into the national spotlight after their son was killed by George Zimmerman Feburary 26 in Sanford, Florida.
The rally will be held at North End Missionary Baptist Church at 463 N. 99th Street at 12 p.m.
Martin and Fulton want to talk to community members about discouraging violence.
Anyone concerned about the Metro East and Greater St. Louis area are invited to attend the rally.
