A SWIC campus threat prompted officials to close the school.
Belleville, Ill (KSDK) -- Students are back in class Friday after a SWIC bomb threat forced a campus evacuation.
The pencil-written bomb threat was discovered at 8 a.m. Thursday in the first floor men's bathroom in the main building at Southwestern Illinois College Belleville.
All students and staff were sent home for the day.
Illinois State Police, Belleville police, the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department and SWIC Public Safety are investigating.
