Belleville, IL (KSDK) - Two Washington Park, Illinois teens have been charged for allegedly raping three young girls.
St. Clair County State's Attorney Brendan F. Kelly charged 16-year-old Demarkus Kidd with five counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, and 15-year-old Deshaune Porter with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault.
Court documents state Kidd and Porter raped a 5-year-old girl, a 6-year-old girl, and a 12-year-old girl between July 11 and July 26.
Kidd and Porter will be prosecuted as adults because aggravated criminal sexual assault is a crime of excluded jurisdiction.
Bond is set for each at $750,000.
Kidd and Porter are currently held at the St. Clair County Detention Center.
If convicted, aggravated criminal sexual assault carries a mandatory prison sentence of between six and 30 years.
