JOHNSON COUNTY, Ill. (KSDK) - A Johnson County, Illinois man has been sentenced for his involvement in the making of methamphetamine.

U.S. Attorney Stephen R. Wigginton says 27-year-old Brett S. Turok of Vienna, Illinois, was sentenced Thursday to 121 month in prison, five years of supervised release, and fined $300.

Court documents state Turok supplied pseudoephedrine pills, stole anhydrous, and was involved in the manufacturing of meth between 2009 and July 25, 2011 in Jackson and Williamson counties.

Turok was found responsible by the district court for the production of 840 grams of methamphetamine.

Because of the use of violence during the conspiracy, Turok's sentence was enhanced.

Three co-defendants previously pleaded guilty and were sentenced to prison terms between 120 and 262 months.
