KSDK-- Police identified two people killed in East St. Louis, which includes a missing Belleville woman.
Major Case Squad detectives are investigating the murders of 21-year-old Darnell Turner, Sr., and 20-year-old Araybia J. Moore, of Belleville, who were found dead inside an East St. Louis home overnight.
Police said the home is located in the 1300 block of Market St. The homeowner found the victims around 11:30 p.m. Monday. Police said the two had been shot in the head and were laying on a couch in the living room. Investigators said Turner and Moore had been dead at least 24 hours before they were discovered by the homeowner.
According to police, Moore had been reporting missing to Belleville Police on Saturday. NewsChannel 5 was originally told by police that Moore may have been pregnant, but the Major Case Squad has not confirmed the report and they tell us that is being investigated.
Police say they have several leads but no one in custody at this time. If you have information, you're asked to call the Major Case Squad at 618-482-6607
