Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford

"Needles, Knives or Nothing," was the title of Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb's special Today hour devoted to cosmetic procedures.
"I'm scared," said Hoda.
Kathiee Lee underwent an eyebrow "lift" called Ultherapy, a non-invasive form of tissue lifting that is an alternative to Botox. Deep heat was applied to her forehead.
Hoda had hair removed from her forearm. "You're gonna burn the hair right off the arms?" she asked. It was actually lasered off. "It feels like a cold blast."
A patient was shown getting a Cellulaze procedure, live from the Juva Skin and Laser Center in New York, having fat scraped out of her thigh. Argh! Viewers were urged to look away. "No, I want to see every bit of it!" said Kathie Lee. The patient was able to talk, assuring, "I feel pretty numb."
Another patient was shown getting Sclerotherapy spider vein removal, while yet another got Botox around her eyes. If you weren't into injections, it was not a good idea to watch.
Said Hoda, "We need wine."
