I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want: The Spice Girls to play at the Olympics.

Say You'll Be There, girls.

If You Wannabe My Lover ...OK, enough puns, more information.

The Spice Girls will be bringing a dose of the 1990s to the Olympics, reuniting for a performance at the closing ceremony of the London Games on Aug. 12, according to multiple outlets.

"I don't know about a comeback tour, but I loved being back with the girls. We are very excited about the Olympics," member Victoria Beckham said in a radio interview.

The UK pop group will reportedly sing their 1996 hit Wannabe, which went No. 1 in multiple countries, in a two-song appearance.

The five singers, Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) and Beckham (Posh Spice) will join British music stars George Michael, The Who, Take That and Jessie J for the event.

Ironically, Beckham will be involved in the London Games while her superstar husband, soccer player David Beckham, will not be competing athletically. Beckham was not selected for Britain's Olympic soccer team, and he did not want to light the flame in the opening ceremony.

Beckham said he'd still have an undisclosed role in the Olympics. Will he be a Spice Girls back-up dancer?
