St. Louis (KSDK) -- Listen Live Entertainment, the people in charge of LouFest Music Festival in St. Louis, had some exciting news to share Tuesday.
They announced a new partnership with concert promoter C3 Presents, the people in charge of Chicago's Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Music Festival.
LouFest founder Brian Cohen believes this new partnership will bring more resources to the St. Louis event in terms of talent booking, marketing and sponsorship support, and in turn will allow LouFest to grow.
Organizers say plans are still in the works for 2013, but fans can expect a larger footprint with more stages and bands, a continued emphasis on local food and restaurants, a family component, and an ongoing commitment to sustainability.
LouFest 2013 is scheduled for September 7-8 in Forest Park.
This year's LouFest in August attracted 12,000 fans over two days and featured three stages of performances with bands including The Flaming Lips, Girl Talk, Son Volt, Dinosaur Jr., and more.
