It's not been a good year for R&B bad boy Bobby Brown. The former New Edition singer and ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston was arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI in Los Angeles Tuesday night, TMZ is reporting.
According to law enforcement officials, Brown was stopped after driving erratically around 1 a.m. Police say they smelled alcohol when they approached Brown's car, asked him to get out and then issued a field sobriety test, which he allegedly failed.
This is Brown's second DUI dust-up this year. He was also arrested for DUI in March and went to rehab this summer for alcohol abuse. In April, Brown pleaded no contest to the March DUI charge and was sentenced to three years probation and was ordered to complete a three-month alcohol education program.
