Chapin, SC (WLTX) -- When bride, Eva James, walked down the aisle, she was literally walking down the aisle.
"We found love in the paint aisle," said the new Mrs. James-Pittman.
Eva James-Pittman walked down the aisle of the True Value Hardware store in Chapin where she and her husband first met.
Daryl Pittman remembers that day like it was yesterday.
"Eva came up here looking for paint and sandpaper and even some epoxy some other things, I remember that day, " Daryl Pittman said.
Two months of dating and crooning, Daryl knew Eva was the one.
"We Pittmans know what we like and we go after it," he said.
It was Eva who actually triggered the idea of getting married at the True Value.
"We were joking around about getting married, 'Oh let's do some redneck wedding,'" she said. "And he was like, 'Yeah, baby. We should just get married at True Value.' And I was like, 'Oh my gosh, we should.'"
So in front of friends, family, store employees and customers, the two pledged their love, exchanged rings and made it official.
"We had so many good friends helping out," Daryl said.
"The friends and his co-workers. That's just amazing because you don't find that everywhere," Eva said.
The couple says meeting and then getting married at True Value just seemed like the right thing to do.
"True love at the True Value," the couple said.
