We're not terribly sure why watching Kate Upton hanging around a car that's getting washed by a bunch of guys qualifies as sexy, but apparently it does.
Mercedes-Benz proffers this new video ad as a prelude to its Super Bowl ad, which we think will also feature the supermodel who reigned in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Not a bad gig, if you ask us. She just sort of gets to hang out, and gets a paycheck for it.
To Mercedes, of course, it's the car that's the sexy beast of this ad. It's the new CLA, introduced last week at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, and it's aimed at youthful, well-moneyed crowd that includes people like Upton and her friends.
But sexy? We're not seeing it. For sexy, try to the Carl's Jr./Hardee's hamburger ads that Upton already has tucked into her body suit. Now those were sexy.
