LONDON (NBC) - Europe's biggest street party enjoyed a second sunny day of color, sequins, music and food.
Hundreds of thousands of people lined the streets of London's Notting Hill neighborhood for the annual carnival. Performers wore an array of colorful costumes and danced down the street in London's version of a Caribbean party.
"The reason why I have come here is because I want my kids to actually feel the carnival spirit because I am from Jamaica as well," said one participant.
"It's the first time we have ever had jerk chicken as well so it's quite good to have it in its authentic place," said another.
This year is the 49th year of the festival and is expected to attract up to one million people over two days.
