DYERSVILLE, Iowa (KWWL) - It was like a scene from a movie...literally.
The Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa recreated a scene from its namesake movie.
"Ghost Players" came out of the corn Sunday night to play a game.
More than 100 people were on hand to catch the event.
Player Frank Dardis says this is an extra-special way to honor "America's pastime."
"The field is magic. It's got a life of its own," he said. "Since 1988, they tried to plow it under and it came back. People come here everyday all over the world to have a good time and it's infectious here."
The ghost players end their season with two games later this month, but both are during the day.
