Jefferson City, Mo (KSDK) -- A little more than a quarter of registered voters are expected to turnout for the Missouri primary election August 7.

Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan said the 25.56-percent estimated voter turnout is based on numbers provided by election authorities from each county.

Polling places will be open for the Missouri primary from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Voters can find their polling place, view a sample ballot and learn what type of identification they need online.
