New York (NY1/CNN) - New York police could have a serious counterfeiting problem on their hands.
Investigators are trying to find the suspect who loaded up two Manhattan ATMs with fake cash.
The individual then made off with 100,000 in real bills.
At least two people withdrew bills that were blank on one side.
But one New Yorker isn't very worried about it.
"I think it's probably a one-off because I mean how many ATMs can the guy actually hit in a city of 10 million people and how many ATMs are there in the city? There's gotta be 100,000 ATMs, so I'm not too worried that I'm going to go into the one out of the next 99,099 that the guy's going to hit," said the man.
Police are apparently investigating a 26-year-old man as a possible suspect.
He works the company that services the ATMs.
