LIMON, CO (KUSA) -Westbound Interstate 70 is closed in Colorado due to a huge pile-up crash in the Limon area.
According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, most of the vehicles involved in the wrecks are semi-trucks. Crews are also trying to put out a semi-truck fire. The fire is about 17 miles west of Limon near Agate.
Originally, it was reported one of the trucks was carrying an explosive material. Upon further investigation, it was a "glue-like substance."
According to 9NEWS Reporter Matt Flener says there are 14 semi trucks on the side of the road and it appears at least nine of them are involved in the fiery crash. Only one semi-truck has burned to the ground.
It is unknown at this time when the interstate will reopen.
