(CNN) - The woman at the center of the scandal that took down CIA Director David Petraeus is without her military security clearances right now.
Paula Broadwell has had her government security clearance suspended pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
Broadwell is currently a military intelligence reservist and was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in August.
Earlier this week, the FBI raided Broadwell's home after she told investigators she ended up with military documents after taking them from a government building.
Broadwell denied accessing the documents during her relationship with Petraeus.
The FBI is trying to decide whether to charge Broadwell with a crime.
Petraeus resigned Friday after admitting to an affair with Broadwell.
He served just 14 months as head of the CIA.
